Ark Valley Electric’s 86th Annual Meeting

The 86th Annual Meeting of The Ark Valley Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. was held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.

There were 218 registered members, and 1 registered by proxy. About 464 people attended the dinner meeting, which was catered by Fence Post Catering of Harper.

Steve Schweizer of Plevna and Jaime Howard of Alden were elected to a three year term on the Ark Valley Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees.

All members attending the meeting received a multi-unit charger from Ark Valley Electric and after the business meeting a drawing was held for door prizes. If you were not able to attend and would like a charger, they can be purchased for $10, while supplies last. All money received will benefit Ark Valley Electric’s scholarship fund.
